DURANGO, Colo. - Given the amount of curiosity circulating about 1111 Camino, the Animas Riverfront property slated for redevelopment beginning spring 2008, project developers Dan Baker and Mynders Glover will host a public open house at the property, Sunday, March 16, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Located literally at 1111 Camino del Rio, adjacent to Town Plaza in Historic Downtown Durango, the project when complete in Fall 2009 will include 37 upscale condominiums plus specialty retail, a café and an open air plaza. Condominium prices will be released March 17
“The building is coming down, and we want to give folks a hint of what’s coming up,” said Glover. “We will begin taking reservations for the condos early the week of March 17, but over the weekend people will have opportunity to check out the views from the various condominiums, and see in person the fine finishings planned for these residences before they commit.”
Working with the designers and engineers, the developers will have on site a lift or “bucket truck” that can place prospective buyers as well as members of the general public at the level and location of a future balcony. The completed complex will be three levels high, and has been configured to ensure maximum views and privacy for all residences.
“It’s one thing to take a virtual tour, but it’s another to actually be positioned on what might be your balcony,” said Baker, noting that each view is unique. “The riverfront condominiums will all have unobstructed views of the Animas River, and we want to truly ‘show’ people what that means.”
The open house will also feature complimentary refreshments in the existing events center.
““We hope everyone will come on down and see what’s happening along the river. It’s all very exciting,” said Lisa Bourque, sales manager. “But also we’re asking that folks visit our web site, www.1111camino.com, to see firsthand ‘the lifestyle’ planned for those who reside at 1111 Camino.”
