The Small Business Development Center located at Fort Lewis College is offering a Five Top Ways to Green Your Business workshop in Durango at the Durango Recreation Center.
This half-day seminar coached by JoDee Powers of Progressive Green Solutions will give you practical advice you can apply immediately to your business. Her insights and experience will give you the ability to plan your way into cost effective and environmentally friendly practices. Take away skills that will help you “green” your business long into the future.
This workshop covers helpful topics such as:
· Economics of Climate Change
· Understanding Your Carbon Footprint
· Identifying Your Green Mission
· Improving Energy Efficiency
· Greening Your Employees
· Creating a Green Marketing Edge
The workshop will be held on Thursday, April 10th at the Durango Community Recreation Center (2700 Main Ave), 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuition is $49 or $39 for Chamber Members and the registration deadline is April 4th, although walk-ins will be welcome. Space is limited and the first 15 registrations will be guaranteed a space.
