The General Education Development (GED) program will administer tests on Saturday, April 5, in Durango. Applicants must be 17 years old and must not be currently enrolled in a public school.

To achieve the GED High School Equivalency Diploma, a person must pass tests in each of the following areas: English Grammar – Writing, English – Reading, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. All five tests may be taken at one session, or tests may be taken individually at testing sessions scheduled throughout the calendar year.

Tests are scheduled throughout the day beginning at 7:45 a.m. The cost is $20 per test. Students should register online at http://www.ged123.org/ and bring their proof of registration to the GED testing center at 215 E. 13th St in Durango.
