TRAFFIC IMPACTS SEMA Construction notes there will be minimal effects on daily traffic, but minor delays should be expected at times and commuters should plan extra time when driving through the area (as there is also concrete reconstruction on US 160 through Bodo Industrial Park this summer and next). Operations will be scheduled to minimize impacts during peak rush hours. Lane closures/restrictions on US 160 between Farmington Hill and Daytime traffic may be reduced, periodically, to one lane in each direction between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 3:30 P.M. Nighttime traffic may be reduced, periodically, to one lane in each direction between the hours of 6:30 P.M. and 6:30 A.M. As construction progresses, complete closures of US 160 at night will be necessary. These closures will only occur between the hours of 9:00 P.M. and 5:00 A.M. Notification of these full closures will be provided at least 14 days in advance of the closures. Alternate routes will be posted. The following information will help motorists in traveling through the area this summer: Obey construction signing, lane closures and traffic control for the safety of yourself and construction personnel in the work zones. Watch/listen for additional information via local media, log onto the US 160 Durango Bodo project site at http://www.dot.state.co.us/us160durango/, where information on both projects will be posted; or log on to CDOT’s weekly lane closure report at http://www.dot.state.co.us/TravelInfo/currentcond/ or call 511 for statewide road reports.
