The capacity crowd at San Juan Symphony’s Music for Main concert at the Henry Strater Theatre on April 5 helped raise $8,160 for the benefit of the 700 Main Disaster Relief Fund according to SJS Executive Director Kathy Myrick. Concertgoers were treated to a festive performance of baroque and modern music, local soloists and special guest stars in the relaxed atmosphere of the Strater Theatre. All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the Relief Fund. Special thanks to Music Director Arthur Post and all the SJS musicians who generously donated their services, and to Basin Printing, the Durango Herald, Graphic Interpretations, Alpine Bank, Scooter’s Place, the Business Improvement District, the Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall and the Strater Theatre for their donations as well.
