The existing wood elements, including the decking and railing, will be removed and replaced. The construction project is anticipated to be completed and the bridge re-opened to the public by July 18, 2008. Trail users are encouraged to use the pedestrian/bicycle bridge south of the Skate Park in Schneider Park during the rehabilitation project for the Swinging Bridge.
