The 2008 Durango Open Karate Tournament will take place Saturday, May 3rd at Escalante Middle School. The tournament is sponsored by the Durango Karate Club and the City of Durango. Events will include white belt through black belt divisions in kata, weapon kata, kumite (fighting) and team kumite. Top competitors will be awarded trophies, medals or Grand Champion trophies. Spectators are welcome.
Saturday May 3 - Escalante Middle School, 141 Baker Lane in Durango
