The creation of the Airport Business Park is scheduled for completion June 2008. It is a 110 acre site adjacent to the Durango/ La Plata County Airport. The park will house a range of commercial uses from office to light industrial. We have conceptual development plan approval from the Board of County Commissioners, but still need approvals for a development agreement and master plan.

Bodo Industrial Park
The Bodo Industrial Park was created by the Durango Industrial Development Foundation (DIDF) in the early 1970s. The Park, which consists of 170 acres of land just west of US Highways 160/550, was annexed to the City of Durango in 1999. The park is located about two miles southeast of downtown Durango. As a consequence of annexation, the Park now enjoys city services.

The enterprises located within in Bodo Industrial Park participate in a wide array of industries. The service industries, including professional, financial, and healthcare services make up the largest segment of Bodo enterprises.

Durango Tech Center
Durango Tech Center offers premier commercial lots located in an upscale business park. Utilites are installed to each lot line and landscaping and covenants are applied.

Bayfield Center
Located at the junction of Highway 160 and County Road 50, the Bayfield Center contains a total of 38 lots, the largest of which is 7.5 acres, although most are approximately one-acre parcels. The infrastructure, completed in autumn 2001, features, in addition to the standard roads, water, sewer, etc., a pedestrian trail and picnic and sitting areas, plus businesses will have access to fiber optics and other amenities crucial to competing in today's commercial markets.

Suggestions for additional Bayfield Center businesses include services such as a copy shop or car wash, retail stores, a fast food outlet and a hotel. Lots are currently for sale, beginning at $2.5 per square foot, through Bayfield's agent, Gina Piccoli of Coldwell Banker. Projected build-out is 11 years.
