OK, I am ready to get a web site...

How does it all work?
Not a computer geek? Don't understand how it all works? No worries - you supply us with the ideas and materials and we will do the technical stuff. Creative Links will take a detailed look at your marketing objectives and consult with you about the best use of web tools to achieve effective communication. We will review your current marketing and advertising pieces and recommend ideas on what will work and what information needs to be revised to best meet the needs of the Internet market. An effective web site involves much more than just gathering information and turning it into a web page. Materials - If you work with a printer, we can contact them for text and images from catalogs or brochures we may need. We can then convert existing files into a format best suited for the web.

Creative Links will work with you to clearly define what you want your web site to do. We do not want to waste your time and money if there is no plan in place. (Please see our Web Site Marketing Plan)

Our experience has shown that effective web site includes: interesting content to get them to the web site and fresh content (at least once a month) to give them a reason to return, easy navigational tools, interactivity, ordering information, good customer support, a judicious use of graphics and photos and multimedia components that add value without unnecessary waste of bandwidth. The overall layout of your web site should be well thought out so visitors enjoy visiting your site and want to come back. Graphics should be used to enhance your site, not distract from the message you want to convey.

Once the site has been approved and it is ready to launch, we will submit your web site information to the top search engines. This is all part of the development package (any additional on-line marketing requested such as reciprocal linking, postings and targeted e-mails will be billed separately). Creative Links team members also have a strong marketing background and have been doing effective on-line marketing for over four years. Even if you already have a web site, we can assist you with proper META tags and keywords for search engine submission and additional marketing to help you expose your web site more effectively. We also offer consultation services regarding incorporating your web site into your overall marketing plan.

You will also need to plan for a 'response system' - web users are in the 'now' - they expect immediate response so be prepared to give it to them.

How will a long-distance relationship work?

It is easy to bridge the gap with the Internet. No 'geographically challenged' businesses here! Contact Creative Links to discuss your needs, expectations and budget. You can send us all of your printed pieces via fax, US mail or e-mail attachment and let us review your products and/or services. Creative Links can then get a clear picture of what your message should be, who your target market is and how we can help you tell your story to the world and promote your business world wide.

We do require that our long-distance clients have full Internet access and e-mail use. We will direct you on use of e-mail attachments for file transfers. Before posting the web site to the rest of the world, Creative Links will post to a test site for your viewing pleasure. You may then call, e-mail or fax any comments or changes. It's actually pretty simple.

On-site training can be arranged with CLM team members - travel expenses will need to be negotiated.
