Durango, CO – The Southwest Colorado Small Business Development Center in conjunction with local area business partners is sponsoring a Leading Edge Strategic Planning Series for new and experienced business owners and managers.

The 12 week course will begin on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 and continue until Wednesday, April 8, 2015.

The Business Management and Planning Course to Master Essential Skills for Starting, Managing and Growing your Business Wisely is appropriate for all business types, including agriculture and non-profits.

Top Reasons to Attend include: Master money management, budgeting and accounting; understand what your value to customers is; establish best pricing and marketing practices; learn to plan to make a profit, test ideas, explore possibilities and determine feasibility; gain access to valuable resources and people; and design a business that works for you.

Tuition Includes: 36 hours of instruction from qualified presenters, two members of the business may attend, five hours of individual counseling, access to SBDC resources, opportunities to address individual needs, cash awards for top three business plans submitted.

Full Tuition is only $300 for the entire course or $50 per session. Scholarships may be available. Classes will take place from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. in Education Business Hall room 110, on the Fort Lewis campus.
