Ranch Golf Club
Dalton Ranch Golf Club is set in the magnificent Animas Valley just
six miles north of Durango, Colorado. Winding its way along the Animas1
River below the towering red cliffs of the San Juan Mountains lies this
magnificent golf course designed by architect Ken Dye.
Hillcrest Golf Club
Hillcrest Golf Club is located on a small mesa just north of, and
adjacent to, the Fort Lewis College campus above Durango. The course
overlooks the town and the La Plata Mountains. It is owned by the members
and is open to the public. The normal season runs from March to
November . Hillcrest is a family oriented golf club. The course
is well maintained with greens that are recognized as some of the finest
in the state. The club hosts an extensive tournament program which is
topped off by the Navajo Trail Open and includes three charity events.
The club has invested more than $500,000 in improvements during the
past few years, including a 2,000-square-foot addition to the clubhouse.
Hillcrest is a golf club, not a country club; it provides quality golf

Hunters Run Golf Course
One of the newest courses in the Durango area, Hunters Run Golf
Course offers nine holes. Green fees are reasonable and carts
are available for 18 holes. Hunters Run is located between Durango
and Ignacio about 15 minutes from Durango.
Conquistador Golf Course
This is a championship 18-hole golf course with sand traps, water
hazards, practice driving range and putting green. Located in Cortez,
40 miles west of Durango, this public course is open March through

Hidden Valley Golf Club
A new 18-hole, par 70 course opened in 2001. Green fees are $25

Pagosa Springs Golf Club
Located 3-1/2 miles west of Pagosa Springs on Highway 160, Pagosa
Springs Golf Club is a spectacular course with 27 championship holes.
Ponderosa pines line the fairways making the course both beautiful
and challenging. You are surrounded with magnificent views of the
San Juan Mountains. Private instruction, clinics, rental equipment,

Pinon Hills Golf Course
In nearby Farmington, New Mexico, Pinon Hills has been designated
America's greatest municipal course by Golf Digest. The 18
holes are open to the public year-round, weather permitting. This
